The Willows Golf Resort is situated in the city of Thuringowa, approximately 10 minutes drive from the centre of Townsville, and is easily assessable from the Bruce Highway.

Turn off Nathan Street (Bruce Highway) at Stocklands Shopping Centre and head West on Ross River Road for about 3km. Go straight through the intersection with Thuringowa Drive at the Willows Shopping Centre onto Hervey Range Road and continue West for a further 2 km and turn right at the second roundabout at Golf Links Drive.

Take the second left into 19th Ave and continue to the end to the Clubhouse car park.

About Thuringowa City

Over the past 125 years the Thuringowa area has changed considerably, not the least of which has been the shifting boundary through which Thuringowa has gained and lost land to adjoining local authorities. Today the Thuringowa City area covers roughly the western third of the division's original area.

On the 1st January, 1986, Thuringowa Shire was declared a City. Since that declaration, Thuringowa has experienced spectacular growth. The population has increased from 26,000 in 1986 to over 56,000 today.
